Founded in 1886, Création Baumann is an independent family-run business focusing on long-term objectives. They manufacture and sell around the world a range of high-quality textiles and fabrics.
They needed to recruit a Managing Director for their UK operation. After a briefing meeting in Switzerland, Beaumont Wood provided a short list from which a successful placement was made.

James Hardie® makes the world’s highest performance fibre cement cladding, trim, backer board and sheathing products that offer fire, water, weather, pest, and rot resistance.
In 2012 Beaumont Wood was asked to recruit various specialist salespeople for Fermacell, this we did over a period of several years. Subsequently Fermacell was purchased by James Hardie, and we were asked to recruit a new Managing Director for the UK. After an extensive search, the role was filled. Subsequent assignments have included more specialist salespeople – the latest being a timber frame building expert based in Scotland.
Established in November 1998 and now part of Bergs Timber AB, Baltic Distribution Ltd operate the Port of Creeksea, on the river Crouch. Here they handle Forest Products, metal and other commodities. The service offered ranges from vessel discharge to inland transportation via our in-house transport division.
Beaumont Wood recruited an Operations Director who then set about transforming the port with substantial investment. This is an example of a “start from scratch” recruitment assignment, as we had no knowledge of the pool of talent required, and thus conducted extensive research in order to successfully fill the vacancy.
